Novel ink to stop counterfeiting in currency, medicines
A novel ink with enhanced security features developed with luminescent nanomaterials can help stop counterfeiting in currency, certificates, branded goods and medicines.
The state government will give another 4% DA to state government employees, state finance minister Chandrima Bhattacharya announced today.
She presented the state budget for 2024-25 in the Assembly this afternoon.
The state government employees will get the DA from May this year. The state government had earlier given 4% DA from January 2024.

Mrs Bhattacharya said the Centre has miserably failed to check the prices of essential commodities. The price of medicines have skyrocketed. Under this situation, the state government has proposed to give some relief to its employees. She said the state government employees, teachers, pensioners will be benefited.
